March 2018

The money collected over the last six months from our 'dress down' days has been counted up and after choosing our charity from the various different ones suggested in the office we sent a donation off to Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SOBS) in Scunthorpe.

Fundraising 2017

December 2017

This year we heard that The Blue Door in Scunthorpe were running a 'Twelve Christmas Wishes' Appeal, designed to get support to their clients and give them and their families a Merry Christmas. The Blue Door is a service that provides support to anyone that has experienced domestic abuse and sexual violence in North and North East Lincolnshire and so, as an office, we donated and delivered some of the items on their wish list to help them in making some of those Christmas wishes come true.

Sepetember 2017

McMillan Coffee Morning we raised a fantastic £200.

August 2017

After hearing of the break in at Demeter House School, which is an independent special needs school catering for boys with a variety of additional needs including autism, social, emotional and mental health difficulties in Scawby, we decided to donate the money that had accumulated so far this year from our monthly ‘dress down’ days to help with their appeal to replace their stolen music equipment.

December 2016

The Forge in Scunthorpe run a winter project to help the homeless. The project requires donations that ultimately would fill a rucksack or even a completed filled rucksack that will be handed out to homeless people within Scunthorpe through The Forge project. So this year in the run up to Christmas we decided that we would collect donations in the office with the aim of filling at least one whole rucksack to donate to the project and we are happy to report that we more than managed this!

We also all donned our festive jumpers on our monthly 'dress down day' this month and donated all contributions for December 2016 to Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day appeal.

September 2016

We held a MacMillan coffee morning, for the second year in a row. We again jointly hosted the event with our neighbours, Nic Dakin MP's office, Handelebanken and our new neighbours Lincs Steel.

We raised a fantastic £208-45 big thanks to everyone who came along to support us.

June 2016

Together with Handlesbanken, QualitySolicitors Bradbury, Roberts & Raby & Gail Spavin Wealth Management we organised a Charity Quiz in aid of Lindsey Lodge Hospice. Thanks to all 14 teams that came along to support us, together with entrance fees and the raffle we raised an amazing £1,145.

The picture above is of all Sponsors and Staff. The winning team was Handlesbanken - well done all. It was such a great night we are looking to put on another quiz night later on in the year.

Fundraising 2016

This year to kick start our fundraising as well as our monthly dress down days we decided to raise money for Sport Relief by having a cycle relay on indoor bikes. Two bikes were going for a total of 6.75 hours, we cycled 245.4 miles throughout the day . We again joined forces with our neighbours at Nic Dakin MP's office, Handlesbanken and The Scunthorpe Telegraph. A fantastic total of £230-50 was raised.

Fundraising 2015 continued.

To round off our fundraising year we are happy to announce we have split our monthly dress down day money between two local charities The Stroke Association and Kaleidoscope Action for Children. We sent £84-22 to each charity.

Fundraising in 2015

For 2015 we have decided to fundraise for various charities throughout the year, eg comic relief, children in need, race for life, jeans for genes. Watch this space for more information and opportunities to sponsor staff throughout the year.

September 2015

Friday 25th September 2015, we held a MacMillan coffee morning, 10.30 - 12.30.This was something new to our fundraising calendar as we jointly hosted the event with our new neighbours, Nic Dakin MP's office and The Scunthorpe Telegraph.

One of our main fundraising strengths we are particularly proud of is our cake making skills and putting together a good raffle. We had some really fabulous cakes and some really fabulous raffle prizes, first prize being a CHJ special - one of our chocolate hampers!
